If bowhunting quality whitetails is your passion, the Garrett County MD is your destination.  Our hunts take place in the mountainous region of Garrett County Maryland. If you decide to come hunt with us, you will be hunting in a heavily forested area with hardwood ridges, pine lots, swamps, hemlocks and dense laurel choked streams. This region is also an agricultural area with opportunities to hunt corn and bean fed deer on surrounding farmland. Garrett County's terrain plays a major role in deer habits, survival and concentration. Weather conditions can vary from warm to very cold and snowy, so be prepared. Hunters can expect to hunt by many different methods, from trails, food sources, bedding areas, staging areas, sanctuaries and decoys. ALL HUNTS ARE FROM ELEVATED TREESTANDS!

The state of Maryland has offered the longest bowhunting seasons in the country for years, and also offers some of the most liberal harvest limits on the East Coast.  With a state wide harvest limit of over 50 deer per hunter per year, there's no need to go anywhere else! Take advantage  of this INCREDIBLE opportunity to bowhunt whitetails in Garrett County Maryland by chosing R & R Bowhunting to guide you to you next trophy!  Bowhunts can be arranged for your choice of 3 to 10 day hunts are available.

Long known for its vast tracts of timber and a strong agricultural history, its no surprise why Garrett County has been Maryland's top deer producer for many years.

We cater to bowhunters of all levels with special attention and efforts placed on hunters trying to bag their first whitetail. We will make every effort to provide shooting opportunities for everyone and most importantly provide a memorable and safe hunt for all. We dont offer any "gaurantee hunts". Our hunts will focus on challenge, the desire and ability of the hunter, the thrill of the chase, making sound decisions as a hunter, and the ultimate goal of taking a fine deer with a bow. We believe that the definition of a trophy is in the eyes of the beholder. A mature doe or a young 6-point may be of trophy caliber to many when taken with a bow. While the possibility of taking a Pope and Young buck is not out of the question, we will not fill your head with any false hopes during your hunt. We feel the success of the hunt is largely up to the hunter. Our job is to provide the hunter with the opportunity.

In an effort to harvest better quality animals on all our leases there WILL be changes to our bag limits coming soon.  These are changes that our staff feels will make your experience that much better.  New for 2004 - 6 point minimum on all bucks taken!
